Breast cancer now noticed swollen lymph node on collarbone.

Hi everyone

I'm 29 and was told I have breast cancer on Thursday which came as a huge shock. It's probably in a couple of my underarm lymph nodes too. I had 4 biopsies on breast lump and underarm which obviously caused a lot of pain.

This morning I've found a lump just above my collarbone on the same side and I'm absolutely freaking out that it's spread in such a short space of time. Is there anyone who could shed some light or experience of this please? Is it possible the biopsy has made it swell or if cancer has spread here does anyone have any hopeful stories for me?

Terrified and overwhelmed!

    I'm sorry to hear you've been diagnosed with breast cancer and have found another lump since having your biopsies. There can sometimes be some pain or swelling after a biopsy so this could be the cause but if you're worried do be sure to let your GP and/or cancer team know as they'll be in the best position to tell you more and put your mind at ease.

    Hi,

    Just wanted too Say hi! I am sorry you have been told you have Breast Cancer, I am 38 and it too completely floored me when I was told. 
     

    I have since had it removed and start Chemo in a couple of days. I can't help you with regards to this lump you have found on your Collarbone but I do want too say that this is the worst you will feel because of the unknown, 

    At your next appointment they will have a plan for you and will decide what to do get it sorted. You will feel relieved when you know what's next.

    You will be fine, it's very treatable and you will get this sorted. Here if you need a shoulder.
