Hi all well I've had the lumpectomy and sentinel lymph node removed recovered quite well still a little sore under my arm but was relieved it was done. Went for follow up with the surgeon yesterday and was told I need more surgery as the cancer has spread to the lymph nodes under my arm. Plan was just radiotherapy after lumpectomy now I feel so down as I feel I've gone backwards. Has anyone else had this. It won't be done until after Christmas probably February the waitng is so hard.
