Confusing diagnosis, O/H could now have bowel cancer

My O/H was operated on 5 weeks ago for a bowel blockage, which turned out to be a large tumor enveloping his appendix and caecum. Its spread in small nodes on the peritoneum and the back of his bladder.

We were initially told its Goblet cell adenocarcinoma, but after seeing the oncologist today, it may not be. It may be a bowel cancer.

Very confused and a bit lost. He's been told it's stage 4, grade 3. So it's bad. He's terrified that he's going to die in the next couple of years.

I don't know how to wait another 4 weeks to find out what type it is and what treatment is going to be.

I'm devastated.
