  • Hello Nannychrissy47

I'm so pleased to hear that you've recently finished treatment for cervical cancer and that the physical signs with your bladder and bowels are good. I'm sure that has been a relief for you.

Six weeks is still early days following the treatment that you've been through. These treatments can continue to impact the body for some time even after they've ended so it's understandable that you're still dealing with some problems. It's good to know that your GP has been supportive and referred you to the physiotherapy service. Hopefully, they will be able to help you regain your confidence and build up some more strength in your mobility.

If you'd like to chat things through with one of our team ofnurses you're welcome to call them on 0808 800 4040, Monday to Friday 9 am to 5 pm. I'm sure they will be happy to offer any advice and support that they can.

Take things a day at a time Chrissy. Be kind to yourself on days when it's a struggle and keep in touch to let us know how you're getting on.

    Best wishes,
