Moving Forward

I thought it would be easy but what I didnt know,

was that Moving forward

after Breast cancer  would be so very slow.

The aches and pains  continue

I feel as if I've aged 

I was not prepared for that

Pain in my shoulder ,my hands ,arm and feet

Getting out of bed ,without pain 

Would be such a treat.

Getting lymphedema  and feeling very fat.

Taking letrazole tablets  every day

And Adacal tablets too

Untill 2029

,I wasn't expecting that

It's early days, I tell myself 

And I will keep on popping the pill

If  letrazole is keeping cancer at bay

I'll continue to take  it everyday 

I will move forward 

Even if progress is slow

I will get back to some kinda normal

Bur when that day is going to come 

 Right  now I  can't say

 Because i  don't really know...
