Still feel a lump

Hi I was at the one stop breast clinic on Friday and had examination. Mammogram and ultrasound. They confirmed that the large lump I had was a cyst and I was able to watch it shrink away as they drained it. They told me I had a few smaller cysts but they were harmless. I hadn't felt them before, only the large one that was drained. I was extremely relieved as my anxiety levels had been very high and my GP had put me on medication while I waited for the apt. This morning I had a little feel and I can still feel a lump albeit it is much smaller and wiggles about, it is in the same place as the one that was drained. Is this likely to be one of the other cysts that they talked about. They had told me that from Friday I was to take that as my norm now when checking myself. Just feeling that tinier lump just is allowing some doubt to creep bk in even though I had mammogram, ultrasound and FNA

    I'm so pleased to hear that your appointment at the breast clinic went well and that the lump you had found was a cyst. 

    It's possible that the lump you've since been able to feel is indeed one of the other cysts or maybe some swelling in your breast. 

    It's understandable that you may still have some anxiety so keep doing regular breast checks and if you feel that things change then go back to your GP who will be able to check things for you.

    Thankyou jenn for replying to me. I spoke with my GP on the phone and she said the same as u have. She reassured me that the breast clinic I went to are excellent and would have picked up on anything more worrying. She said the cyst may have slightly refilled again as that can happen. She hasn't received my report from the breast clinic yet but said she should this week so I am to telephone her on Monday and she is going to talk me through the report to give me some more reassurance. As I'm too young for NHS screening yet I still intend to go to the action cancer house for mammograms until I'm called by NHS and wondered if that will mean I will be recalled now for further testing after a mammogram as the cysts will show up on it?

    Also want to check if its normal for the breast to still ferl quite tender after having FNA on Friday?
