Tamoxifen sweats

Hi had lumpectomy lymph nodes removed December followed by radiotherapy finished 2 weeks ago 

So on tamoxifen since then night sweats are horrendous not getting a full nights sleep 

anyone got advice maybe different brands to try or ask for I'm on 20 mg has anyone split it into two 10mg and maybe one in the day and one at night and if you have does it work 

any suggestions welcome and thank you in advance

    Hi there ...

    Bless ya ... that tamoxifen should come with a warning ... with me, after a few weeks started getting really emotional... cryed over everything ... ruined my son's birthday ... crying all the time ... and I think I'm a pretty tough cookie ... then found out it was the tamoxifen... that settled down .. and managed two years before the bones hurt 24/7 ... so many on here have that side effect ...

    I just wish I'd known more when I started it ... lots go through with little or no side effects... everyone is different ... one lass said she cut hers and took morning and night as she couldn't cope .. but think you should talk to your oncology team .. they may be able to change it for you ...
