Update.- Tamoxifen conundrum

Hi all, I started this thread and thought I would post an update. It’s been nearly a year now since I stopped taking Tamoxifen, myjoint aches and pains are so much better also very minimal hot flushes and managing a few extra hours of sleep.

Obviously I worry about it coming back but my bc nurses are brilliant and always around to reassure if I get any u explained pain etc.  For me it was a positive decision to stop taking Tamoxifen and have been lucky that my oncologist was supportive and respected my decision.  We all have to make our own choices based on our own circumstances and although I worry about the cancer returning, I can at least function normally and enjoy my life now whilst I am still young enough to be able to do the things I love.

Good luck to you all on this tough journey, god bless all us survivors.
