I've had melanoma twice and currently I'm not under any Consultant.

I am expected to report any changing moles or freckles to my GP who will then choose to refer me on to a Dermatologist or not.

The problem I have is that because it is left to me to spot changes or anything concerning, this is fuelling my anxiety.  I literally see new freckles every week and changes to existing freckles but cannot be going to the GP every month.

Both of my melanomas were not recognised as such by my GP or the Dermatology department previously.

Can I ask to be reviewed annually by Dermatology?
