Hi had my reversal 6 days ago had rectal cancer surgery last December. First night home and finding it tough no control and feel like I'm permanently attached to the loo. Does it get easier and any tips for coping please?

The NHS website say this may, unfortunately, last for a little while yet but Bowel Cancer UK have a booklet you can download that includes advice on how to manage the side effects so do be sure to have a look at the link I've included when you can.

Thank you for this it is very useful. My surgery was all very rushed as it was a cancellation so didn't get much time to prepare or plan so all help and advice is very much appreciated x
