I was wondering if there was anyone else out there who has experienced late effects of their radio or chemo treatments. my husband had stomach cancer 8 years ago. He had a total gastrectomy and then beause there were some cells found on the margins of the duedenum he also had a round of chemo snd radiotherapy after stomach removal. He was clear and discharged at 5 years however it is now suspected that he has a recurrence in the abdominal cavity area. We have not been able to verify this with a biopsy as yet be ause due to other health complications, surgery( which is currently the only way to get one due to location )  is not an option. Although its is generally agreed that it looks like a recurrence from the CT scans there is also a possibility that it is late effects of therapies becasue some of the symptoms are similar e.g bowel / digestive system strictures, weight loss etc 

Has anyone else any experience of late effects of therapy in this area please?. It would be good to compare notes with you if possible please
