  • Hi Teenagecancergirl. Bless you my angel I am assuming your quite young with your user name. Well first of all darling you do not say where you cancer is. Not that it matters. But yes my darling I have had it on and off ever since I had my first lot of chemotherapy. One thing o have noticed in the world of cancer. You may get told of a few side affects. However what they don't tell you is long term affects on your life. People do not realise how bad chemotherapy can be on some people. Some sail it. After my first course of chemo I only just managed to complete it. Then when the cancer started to grow again oh I have metastatic palliative lung cancer. With cancer in my blood. I was given 6/8 however that was only if I had Pallitive chemotherapy. I would not make half thst if I didn't have thr palliative treatment. So I. Said yes. At first I was offered a trial drug... where I live is becoming a hub for trail drugs. It's definitely not the biggest. However they never ran trial drugs. Now its actually growing into a main hub. My oncologist is a professor who is a world renowned lung cancer researcher in his own right. Not only does he do trials at the hospital I attend he's also going joint trials with other hospitals. I don't know how many courses of chemo you hsvr had, but yes I have experienced it I still get the the Peripheral neuropathy. Along with other long term side affects. I just get a feeling your so young you should not be going through this chick. Do tell your oncologist. Or if you have a Macmillan nurse. Or your GP ok my darlings fo let me know how you get on hun ok
