Warm breast after lumpectomy

Hi 

it's been 8 month since my lumpectomy. I had 2 lymph nodes removed and 23 sessions of radiotherapy on my left breast. Everything has gone ok up till now. My breast feels warm to touch and the side under my armpit feels tender and has pain. Spoke to cancer nurse and was asked if I feel unwell which I don't so just to keep an eye on it. 
 

has anyone else experienced this?

    I'm sorry to hear that you're experiencing this problem at the moment. I'm unsure from your post if this is something that's continued since your radiotherapy finished or if it's a new problem. 

    Ringing your breast cancer nurse was the correct thing to do so please do keep an eye on it but if you feel that it's worsening or you have any concerns at all then do get back in touch with her again and they will be able to give advice or check things over if necessary.
