Hi Mags, I dont know if this post will be any help to you. I finished my first lot of chemo for BC in August 2019 and my hair started to grow its probably about an inch all over some bits are thicker than others. I've been using hair growth shampoo and conditioner. I'm not saying they work but I use Umberto giannini grow long root stimulating shampoo and conditioner,  I occasionally use the grow mask, grow scrub and grow tonic. Like I said I don't know if they work maybe its phsycological but I also think really pampering and taking care of my hair helps me. The usual advice eat healthy or take multivitamins if you need too. I know a year seems like a long time but after everything you've been through I can imagine you want to be back to 'normal ' which includes having longer hair. But try and wear the short style with pride I bet you look amazing. Everyone is different (I know you probably hear this all the time) speak with your GP aswell just in case there might be reason it's taking it's time to grow. I dont think a year is that long but I understand how you feel xxx

Mine is about 3 inches in some places, it seems to be growing faster in the last month. 
I will check out the shampoo.
