Hello, I had acute myeloid leukaemia 10 years ago and have been in remission since august 2010. Would I come under the vulnerable cases and should stay home for 12 weeks?

Hello Phil_uk_86,
The NHS will be writing to everyone in England who is considered to be extremely vulnerable. You can read the advice they will be given and the types of people they will be contacting on the Public Health England website here. I think if you are unsure, it would be a good idea to contact your health team and asking them whether you are definitely considered high risk.
Aside from those who are extremely vulnerable it is important that everyone takes sensible social distancing precautions at the present time to reduce the spread of the virus and maintain health. You can read about this here.
We have some information about corona virus on our website here.
As the situation changes and more evidence become available about corona virus and its impact, the information may change so we would suggest that you check the government information on the link above from time to time.
You may find it helpful to talk things through with one of the nurses on our helpline. The number to call is Freephone 0808 800 4040 and the lines are open from 9am till 5pm Monday to Friday.
Best wishes,
