Hello
I hope this is the right place to post for some advice..
As everybody is aware the new COVID19 has brought a lot of worry and anxiety to us all.
There is a lot of talk of vulnerable groups. In 2016 I was diagnosed with a follicular carcinoma thyriod cancer as I had a 6cm lump growing on one side of my thyriod so had an operation to remove half and when the results came back had a full TT in June 2016. I did not need to undergo the radio active iodene treatment.
Do I count as a vulnerable person? I have a compromised immune system due to having cancer in the first place I was told? I know I did not have the chemo is it just people who have had cancer who have had chemo that are at a higher risk and should be more careful about the COVID19.
Any advice will be great as I cannot contact my consultant right now.
many thanks
