Hi. I stopped taking tamoxifen in January after taking them for 10 yrs. I've noticed in the last 6 weeks that I'm getting a lot of pain/aches in my hip and knee joints. I wonder if anyone else has had this or similar.
Sorry to hear that you've been experiencing some aches and pains since stopping your tamoxifen earlier this year. Whilst it's possible that this could be due to the medication, it would seem sensible to make an appointment to get things checked with your GP if you've not already done so.
I stopped Tamoxifen in the summer after 10 yrs, and I feel like my body belongs to a 70 Yr old! I am 53 and my joints all click n grate and I have pain in my back and hips. Also I have brain fog and feel really dim. I thought my hot flushes would have gone now but they are getting worse, I keep thinking I have flu! Reading the comments on here have reassured me that I'm not alone
