Think you should go see your GP as they will be able to feel your stomach and tell you what it is, fluid will feel differently from fat. If nothing else it will put your mind at rest.

Hiya Magpiemaggie, I know you’re right, it’s just that after two and a half years of fighting cancer, spending most of my time at hospitals etc, I wanted to avoid hospitals/doctors! BUT, I will be sensible and do the right thing, so thank you for the kick up the bum that I needed! Xxxxxxxxxx

I feel you're pain. I always dread going to the hospital/GP now - sick of the sight of them :)

but always feel better once I've been, my GP has nurses that perform different roles and they are lovely so I always try and bag an appointment with them as they have more time to listen to me (poor souls). I have put on a lot of weight since begining treatment, even though I do exercise etc - I'm about to hire a personal trainer as I need to drop a dress size in order to fit into all the clothes I bought in the January sales :D
