UTI’s linked to Tamoxifen?

Hi, 

since starting Tamoxifen in the summer of 2019, I get a urinary tract infection every time after sex which requires anti-biotics to clear. 
It's only occurred to me that it started after taking Tamoxifen and I didn't suffer with UTI's before starting this hormone therapy. 
anyone else experienced this with Tamoxifen? And any advice appreciated.

    Hi, 

    I started taking Tamoxifen on December 18th and 2 days later I started with a UTI. Since then I have had a further 2 UTIs and they seem to occur every 4 weeks. The pain was so bad on Monday I ended up in A&E. I never experienced UTIs before taking the tablets. I am due to discuss with my Oncologist within the next month. Even though I have been told that UTIs are not a side effect, I can't help but think the tablets have something to do with it . A UTI is so debilitating so really hope you get it sorted
