ive had all my surgery and now I’ve got Lymphedema on my effected side (arm) I think I can feel a lump in my armpit but think it could just be scar tissue. Just wondering if anyone else has got this problem?
I have had lymphoedema in my leg since I had a full node clearance in my groin & pelvis 10 years ago.
It's not unusual to feel lumps in the affected limb but it really needs checking out. If you are still under your consultant & don't have a check up for a while I suggest you contact their secretary & ask for an earlier appointment. If you aren't still under the hospital, see your GP who should arrange for an ultrasound of the area to see what is causing the lump.
