  • Hi there how long have you been taking letrizole? I've recently started this medication 8 days ago and I don't feel any different no side effects probably to early ? they might kick in later my doctor did say not everyone gets side effects and if I do get any I cannot cope with he said he would change them to a different one there is many to choose from apparently he said he wouldn't let me suffer maybe you should ask your doctor to change for you .i hope you feel better soon .

  •  Hi i’ve been taking this medication for nearly a year I went on holiday For a week i I forgot to take my tablets I felt great I came back took the tablets for two days and I was in agony again I know I should go to the doctors and change the tablets but they say this is the best one so I don’t know what to do  I know I shouldn’t be suffering but I’m frightened the cancer will come back.. The pains did not started for a couple of months

    Hi Gina,

Have a chat with your breast care nurse or oncologist. There are other meications which may work better for you.

There is no one tablet that is 'the best'. Different tablets suit different people. If you are frightened of the cancer returning and, most of us are, then don't stop completely. Change to something that works for you, but without causing all of these side-effects.

    Kind regards,
    Jolamine xx
