Dry mouth after treatment

Hi all, I am hoping others can help and give me some advice about coping with a very dry mouth after treatment,  I have recently, three weeks ago, started eating and drinking after having surgery to open my throat up, following radiotherapy and chemotherapy treatment for tonsil cancer.  It was a rare side effect of my treatment and meant I was unable to swallow anything, including my own saliva.  I haven't eaten for 8 months, so I am keen to get going and try things!  I have managed quite a lot of things in the past three weeks but would love some advice on the type of foods and drink to have that are easy to get down with an extremley dry mouth, stuff to avoid and any lozenges/sprays that have worked for people.  Also, does anyone use a nebuliser at night to help with a dry mouth?  Any recommedations as to brand?

Hope you can help.  Thanks in advance.
