Waiting For Loop Colostomy Surgery..Long Wait..Suffering..

1 year 4 mths post Cancer Treatments. Still in daily pain waiting for loop Colostomy Surgery...waiting and waiting..no date yet. Oct 25 2019.

 

Keep waking up every morning early in pain and itch. Cancer gone left in mess Anal Ulcer anal inflammation.... baths Oxycodone..creams..nothing complety gets rid of pain.

 

Completely on "left side"..pinched nerves for a year cause of this being on left side. Sitting in car and in MRI painful..a joke!

    I'm sorry to hear that you're still waiting for surgery and struggling with side effects of your treatment. Has your Dr explained why you haven't been able to have the surgery yet? 

    I presume from your username that you're not based in the UK so I'm a little unsure how the health care system works in Canada and what additional support you may be able to seek out. It may be worth getting in touch with the Canadian Cancer Society to see if they are able to help. 

    I really hope that things improve for you soon.
