Hopefully some of our members who have contended with brain tumours will be along soon to share their experiences with you but we do have some information about how cancer can affect your sex drive on our website just here. 

You could try writing down what you ask your doctor on a piece of papaer and handing it over to them as they will understand how sensitive this issue can be and will be more than happy to give you their thoughts on this.

Our cancer nurses are just a phone call away on 0808 800 4040, Monday - Friday between 9a.m - 5pm as well but if you don't feel comfortable discussing this on the phone, you're more than welcome to make a new post about this in their section of the forum instead.

You don't have to worry about that. It is better to talk to your doctor. He will be able to help you. It is a serious issue, and you don't have to be ashamed of it. Also, they have doctor-patient confidentiality, so you don't have to worry about it. It's much better than taking Viagra to satisfy your girlfriend :). Still, there are side effects from them.  I highly recommend getting over your shyness and talking to your doctor.
