My father has been diagnosed recently with terminal stomach cancer. The doctors advised that we take him home. He is having temperature and we have been advised to use paracetamol etc. for it. Is there any other way to help with the temperature?
As far as I know if he's got a terminal diagnosis he should have a care plan ... if I were you, I'd give Marie Currie a ring... you can find their number on their homepage ... I was really surprised how much they do for them ... and for the family ...
Write down All your concerns and the answers as it goes over your head ... ask them who or what you can apply for ... there is help out there it's just finding it ... ask them about pain relief too ... let us know how it goes ... Chrissie x
