I can see from a previous post earlier this year that you have had this feeling of a lump in your throat for some time. 

It's positive that the Dr and nurse don't feel that this is anything to be concerned about although it doesn't solve the problem for you if it's particularly uncomfortable. 

As it's not getting any better then maybe you might consider going back to your GP and explain that you are still struggling with this feeling. It may be that they are able to give you something to help or refer you for some support to help manage your concerns around this issue.

I have had only one cycle of chemo so far, and the same thing happened to me.  However it lasted about 10 days then went away.  It was very worrying at the time.
