One year on from having 5 months of Chemotherapy and 5 weeks of Radiotherapy for cervical cancer and I'm constantly having Diahorea and bought incontinent pads as I've had several accidents because I've not much control over my bowels . 

I've took Imodium tablets which stops the runs for a few days but instead I'm very sick as can't have a bowel movement so a catch 22 situation and wondered if anyone is suffering with the same problem as myself ?

    I'm really sorry to hear that you're struggling with these side effects after your treatment.

    Have you disccussed things with your GP recently? If not then it's certainly worth going to see them for a review. It may be that they are able to offer advice on diet that can help your symptoms or if a referral to a specialist is needed then this can also be arranged. 

    You might also find it helpful to have a look through the website for the Bowel and Bladder community who will be able to offer advice and support on managing your symptoms.
