latissimus dorsi Flap

i previously had an implant after mascetomy and radiation. I also had a mascetomy and implant on the other breast as I have the BRCA gene.  On the breast cancer side, my implant came through the skin, resulting in removal. 

Im quite thin and my surgeon mention back flap. Has anyone had this procedure with a breast implant inserted?

 

i would like to know your experience regarding this. How does it look and feel etc and was there any complications. Also what is the scarring like? I’m so worried about it all

    I've had a look through the forum and found this thread which both [@Kezza324]‍ and [@JohannaM]‍ have both recently posted on. 

    There are a couple of other threads on the forum and if you use the search function (magnifying glass in the blue bar) at the top of the page you should be able to have a read through comments from other ladies who have had or considered a latissmus dorsi reconstruction. 

    Breast Cancer Care also have a really useful booklet about breast reconstruction which may help answer some of your questions. You can find it here.
