Hi i had bowel cancer 5 years ago but recently I've been getting pains in my lower pelvic area but gp can't find a cause and is wondering if its to do with my bowel, so I'm wondering if anyone has experienced this at all? There doesn't seem to be a pattern as bowel movements are fine.

    As your GP wasn't able to find a cause and this is still playing on your mind, maybe you could try seeing another doctor at your surgery to get a second opinion? Our cancer nurses are available by phone if you'd like to chat with them about this as well. You can call them for free on 0808 800 4040, Monday - Friday between 9a.m - 5p.m.

    Hopefully you'll hear from some of our members who have experienced similar symptoms as well.
