I am sorry that we did not see your post earlier but by now you hopefully would have had your results.
Hospitals have different ways to contact their patients about their results. They might need to be discussed with the specialist team involved in your care first, then you may get a call, or are asked to come in to be seen at an appointment, or receive a letter. However you are contacted is no indication of how serious the results could be, so try not to worry.

I hope that all went well with your MRI. They don't usually phone if anything untoward is found, but wait to give you your results face-to-face irrespective of how good or bad the outcome is.
