Post Surgery

I was discharged on Monday after being kept in for 4 days. I was admitted last Thursday for a Wide Local Excision of breast tissue and Sentinel Node Biopsy. Unfortunately, I just returned from theatre when I was in a lot of pain which resulted in returning to theatre for evacuation of a large haematoma. No luck.

I wasn't quite sure what to expect afterwards even though I read leaflets etc.

I am still having a considerate amount of pain but I am just hoping that they have managed to remove all the cancer and that I do not have to go through anymore surgery.
