Yes Burning and pain are normal side affects of Radiotherapy.

I had a burn like bad sunburn for 1-2 weeks after with some skin peeling also.It cleared up on its own and is now fine.Also had some shooting pains in the area treated and in ribs below which is also normal.

If you are severely Burnt or in secere pain please contact your oncologist or Breast nurse for advice.
