Depression and crying all the time

Please would somebody talk to me I'm so angry all the time all I do is cry and get in a terrible state over silly things

  • You're more than welcome to message me anything x

  • Hi Sally I'm sorry about everything you've gone through. I'm not surprised your 'e getting emotional ...youve been through a lot. I think sometimes it's ok to cry and be angry. I'd say it's important. I've not had cancer myself but my dad has, and being depressed and angry is just a natural response I think. i can't really compare too much, his diagnosis is different. However he was offered counselling, but it's not for everyone ( is it?)  so he was put on anti- depressants and they have helped him a little. I've tried to cheer him up with laughter...but agree sometimes that doesn't help. Ive tried to just keep taking him out for walks and to nice places, and tried to engage him in interests. I don't know if this has helped. I'm writing from the perspective of a relative so different. I think it's a very hard thing to go through and it's a rollercoaster. Think we beat ourselves up for getting angry but think it's an important emotion xx

  • I have cancer & get very angry & cry sometimes. It is alot to deal with but i really found that meditating really helped to process my thoughtsl & feelings. Talking really helps as well as this site. We have to find what works for us as an individual. I hope you find that & we are all here to help. Having cancer & caring for someone or knowing someone with cancer are all a real emotional rollercoaster. Talking really helps. Chin up & happy to chat any time.

  • Hi Sally, i have recently relapsed after a stem cell transplant a year ago, I'm now looking at more treatment again,  i have been crying  at times but feel this is good for me, things are dificult at the moment and worrying and thinking negative do come up , this is normal for me, i do try to be posative as much as I can, worry has its place in my life but it can't be all about that, i have other things to do so  take it easy and keep talking and ask for help when you need it. best wishes joe.
