  • Hello Teresa,

I am so sorry to hear about the extreme anxiety you have been suffering recently. This waiting game can really be very stressful as many of our members will know but if you are crying yourself to sleep and having panic attacks, I think it would be a good idea perhaps to talk to your doctor about it and mention how you are feeling at the moment.

Perhaps you could also phone the surgery and ask for the blood test results? I know it can also trigger some anxiety to make that all important phone call but perhaps it will make you feel better to talk to someone about these results. You could also try and chase the X-Ray results even though it might take longer to get these. Talking to someone about the process, about how long it might take and how you will find out about these results might alleviate your anxiety a little and give you a clearer picture of the timeframe.

We are all here for you any time you need to talk. Do come back here when you get your results and please update us when you get a chance. We will be thinking of you!

    Best wishes,
