Hi folks, just back from my 2 month break in Lanzarote burrrr!

Had my 12 month check after kidney cancer just before I left in December and all was well .

thoroughly enjoyed my time away, so relaxing in the sunshine as well as enjoying some great times with friends.

i also had a go at driving while away this year for the first time, brilliant! 

Still feeling good, yes I do have my panic thoughts moments but overall doing O.K. Only sadness is for my brother battling with a prostate cancer diagnosis, we are so close and I'm just pulling him along with me, so far his treatment is showing positive signs so fingers crossed.

    I'm glad you had such a great time in Lanazarote. Just the mention of sunshine is making me realise it may be time for me to book a holiday... ;) especially as your 'brrr' sums up how I'm feeling right now! 

    That's great news about your 12 month check for your kidney Jeanne and I hope it continues to remain that way. I think it's natural to have the odd thought like that but it's good you're working through them and are doing ok although I'm sorry to hear your brother is battling prostate cancer. I'm sure he's very lucky to have you with him on his journey and it's good that the treatment he is having is showing positive signs so far. We'll have our fingers crossed it continues that way.
