It's been 6 weeks since my lobectomy and still in so much pain. I am experiencing numblness near incision which is fine, but there are areas inside my chest that feel as though I'm being branded or burned. I also am experiencing soreness, tenderness, and swelling of my right breast; the sight of the placement of my chest tube. My family Dr. thinks that some of my symptoms are from nerve damage and that it will heal in time.
Anybody out there ever experience these symptoms??
