Hi Everyone,

I was having very good health untill I was diagnose with Kidney cancer and had surgury nearly 2 years ago end up removal of one of my Kidney which was badly effected with tumer and I survive recently . I apply for Life insurance to Aviva and they declice saying information differ so I went to my GP asking what differ ? he said they only tick box about normal heath you can not be deciline for that reason its all up to insurace company .

Anyone who has knowlege regarding insurance matter can guide me will be great.

Hi came across your post so just thought I would give you a quick comment to give you a bit of guidance from my experience. My Dad was recently diagnosed as terminally ill and so he took out life insurance (I think over 50's) with Sunlife. They do a critical illness cover which they pay out a certain % of the policy if you were to pass away during policy time etc. You can do a quote and the results are instant, maybe give them a go? Hope you get something sorted

I recently took out a policy with AllClear Travel Insurance - it was only about 50% more for annual cover than it was for 10 days.
