Hi Heldo. I am at present going through treatment still, I've had a Lumpectomy and about to start a 3 week course of radio thearpy and 10 years of drugs :( not happy about that) I requested a bone scan ( not a density one but a full bone scan) because my area first effected with pain was my ribs which led  me to be thankfully over cautious about my breast and finally got the local docs to send me for a mammogram after going back for a year and a half with rib and breast pain ! to be told i had a 4cm grade 2 lump.!  I agree with you, Ifeel even though i've had the lump removed lymph nodes were clear and margains clear im worried sick that it had started in my bones or spread throu the blood system as its my understanding that cancer can spread to the bones through your blood not just the lymph nodes and I also know if its in your bones your basicly F******d ! no cure just buy you more time.

I was talking to a friend on here who paid privatly to have her whole body scanned every year ! seems to me that bone scans are  EXPENSIVE ! and unless you request and push for one they do not offer them.I had to push for this one. 

Family and friends keep saying the cancer has gone, its not gone- just that lump of cancer is gone i dont think now there will ever be a day where i feel I am cured of cancer or free from it. I Know its stupid but I feel every day I will always be frightened its somewhere else. I know its early days its been 2 months since this bombshell blighted my life but i do find it hard not to let it consume my every thoughts especially to the future and finances with bringing in enough money to support my children and keep my beloved home of 25 years.
