I wonder if there is anyone who has had the same as me? 7 weeks ago today I was told I had a cancerous tumour on my left kidney, and within 5 weeks of that news I was in Kings College Hospital in London having surgery to remove the tumour, a week later it was confirmed that it was in fact the real deal, though my surgeon completely excised the tumour and I am cured, why do I still feel so scared and upset? I will be monitored for the next 5 years via trips back to Kings for CT scans and meetings with my surgeon, it's been a crazy whirlwind of emotions and feelings the past 7 weeks, and I have spent much of this time alone as I am single and live alone, any thoughts or advice would be great to hear just now.
