Coping with a Parent Loss

It's been almost 6 years after losing my Mum, and the grief has really taken hold

  • Hi Nike

Saw your post and wanted to respond. I lost my mum coming up to 7 years ago now (I was 33 at the time ) after a corageous 4 year battle with cancer of the oesophagus which spread to her lungs. I still think about her every day. I don't think it ever leaves, life just seems to trundle along. My good days far outweigh the bad now bit it's OK to have them. We only get 1 mum

  • Lost Mum 3 years ago to ovarian cancer. no it doesnt get any easier does it? Mothers day coming up too , I find I feel jealous of those who have got a mum! seeing all the cards in the shops at the moment is doubly depressing. I know I was lucky to have her in the first place.

    hugs xx
