I had this op. in Feb.2013...After taking oral chemo.in May 2013 I settled down to as normal a life has I had before...Then in Nov.2014 a CT scan showed a new cancer had formed in my right lung,  I had further tests including a PET scan, then a op. which was by keyhole surrgery.This was in Mar 2015..The stay in hospital was only 2 days and I was told the cancer had not travelled to my lymph nodes ..and given the all clear...WOW..

Since then I resumed at the gym ,to keep my weight under control  (but not till 7 weeks after the op). I have had various holidays this year in the British Isles( 7) The reason the British Isles, I was quoted travel insurance £1600 to travel abroad to Spain. (Even tho' I felt great and had further blood tests and CT scan all clear.).They just ignored this ...terrible people....no empathy...

Also I have had three heart stents fitted in 2006 and in 2014 I was diagnosed border line diabetic....so do not give up,  carry on doing your own thing ...I am off to York and then Scarborough for a few days this month and then in December to Manchester for 3 days re. Christmas market.....Best wishes
