Hi , is it normal still to be scared each and every day that it'll come back ? I had stage 2b cervical cancer . In remission 3 years 3 months . Is there anyone else recovering from this ?
Welcome to Cancer Chat. It is great news you have been in remission for 3 years and 3months but it is a totally understandable feeling to worry every day that it will come back. Hi. Im a 2A CC survivor. I think it's normal to be worried about recurrence. But Cervical cancer is quite a quick returner. If it is going to come back it is most likely to come back in the first 2 years. Do you know about Jo's Trust? They have a forum, support groups and an annual Let's Meet where you can meet other survivors face to face and attend workshops. If you really are thinking about it each and every day 3 years on you may need someone to talk to in depth about it. Your cancer nurse could proabbaly refer you for some counselling or your GP can.
