  • Hi George,

Hope you dont think Ive been ignoring you; just been so busy the last few days

So glad the scan went well and that you have a new gp. Hope they can find out whats causing you the pain and get it sorted. Bet Ria is loving her walks with you as always.

    Take care, best wishes, Brian.

  • Hi George

Glad the scan was OK and hope the results can show  how best to treat the pain you are experiencing but hope you do not need to go again to follow what the GP thought was the trouble!  Like  you have been wrapping up and going on my usual walks and then today have just mowed the lawn as though cold we too have some sunshine in Middlesex.  Wishing you a good Sunday and glad the rascal Ria is keeping you company as usual. Be kind to yourself and take care. Jules xx

  • Hi George

I am sure you will all have a great time together.  I am going to visit my Mum this morning and then my son is coming to pick me up for Sunday Roast (lamb) at their place.  It is a beautifully sunny start here so hope it stays that way as am sure we will be taking their Westie (Maddie)  for a walk in the countryside afterwards.

Nature is alive and well in my garden.Fox sprinted across the lawn this morning (too quick for a camera shot) and plenty of birds making the most of the two feeding stations.

Glad Bev doing well despite the  bout of flu and sounds like a couple of mothers will be enjoying their day today. All the very best and take care.  Jules xx

  • Hi Jules ,and all you great people had a few bad days but got a letter telling me to go to trafford general but not until may 9th a long wait looking at the iron blood levels .Plus PC broke down so been without for a few days but this is my spare one but doing well just got to find my wat round it .it is age ?.regards for now george

  • Hi George,

Sorry you have not been so good but know that you will have had the lovely Ria (and her indoors) keeping an eye on you.  A shame that the hospital appointment is a bit of a wait to find out how your blood iron levels are doing.  No doubt if they are on the low side you are tucking into liver and spinach and doing greaat popeye impressions.  Let us hope we will soon have some warming sun on our faces though Easter is looking likely to be a damp squib down here, grrr.

You are doing well on your 'back up PC' and like you I am trying to get to grips with new technology in that I now have what my kids call a proper mobile phone ha ha and yes ....... it's my age too. Sending peaceful thoughts and hugs your way. Take care  Jules x

  •

Hi Flower my iron levels are very high and that can give us pain in  the joints but life is good at our beths 17th birthday party sunday she is one fantastic lady blind in one eye and a problem with her left leg but she is at col  and doing well ..She will say when I walk in their house HI grandad do you want a drink a glass of red .Looking forward to it .. Hope all is well with you and family .

     regards george

  • Hi George

Shame about the high iron levels and hope when you have your appointment next May they may throw some light on 'why?' and maybe offer some solution.  Pain in the joints must be a nuisance when you love to walk but know you will be doing it anyway.  I am sure you will have a lovely time celebrating Beth's 17th on Sunday and good that she is ready and waiting with the red wine - enjoy yourselves.

Me and the children/grandchildren all keeping well and have a new grandchild due end of next month so exciting times.

Currently up to my eyes with a kitchen renovation.  It's so hard watching others do the work though I make sure the kettle is brewed regularly when I am around.  If all goes to plan new kitchen will be fitted in  next couple of weeks.

Take care, lovely man and enjoy the celebrations with the family. Hugs  Jules
