  • Hi George

Enjoying walks, nature, your great pal Ria and being surrounded by family - the ideal recipe in my book. Hope today is a good one too. Have my children/grandsons popping in today, after I have had my morning walk - grateful it is dry. Take care and all the best for tomorrow too. Love Jules x

  • Hi George,

Second attempt at a reply (internet 'in and out'!!). Just wanted to say well done on making the most of your companionship with that rascal Ria - it's so right what they say about dogs being 'faithful friends'. Will be thinking of you both as you visit the GP this evening and taking this time to send you and your wife plus your family a peaceful, safe and merry Christmas. Big virtual hugs. Jules x

  • Hi George,

Hope the pain has eased off. We are having a mixed bad of weather here at the moment. One moment the sun is out, the next moment I am having to put the lights on its so overcast.

Just wanted to wish you well for this evnings appionments. Take care, regards, Brian.

  •  thanks all saw my new GP she is nice passing me on to top man about the iron levels at one of our local hospitals at trafford general ,iron is the problem ,is it booze ? have a great christmas all XXXX LOL

  • Hi George,

Glad you have a good doctor. A few weeks ago, my doctor found I was low in iron levels and also vitamin B12. I had a course of injections for the B12 and that is now okay, but my iron level was still a little low so I am now taking iron tablets. Its not surprising really for I am far worse than a vegetarian; I dont eat meat and the only veg I eat is potatoes, peas and raw carrotts. If they did away with potatoes, I would just wither away ha ha. I hope you get your appiontment through soon.

Take care my friend and hope you and your family have a great Christmas, Brian.

  • Good news then George that you will be getting top man to look at what they can do regarding your iron levels. Hope the appointment comes through soon but in the meantime know you will make the most of family time over the Christmas season. Not sure what effect booze has to be honest but hubby's consultant saw no reason for him to cut it out!!! All the very best. Take care. Jules x
