  • Hi Max

Having just read your response to George you are making my mouth water with your cooking skills! Your Christmas plans sound great and know you will enjoy time spent with the family.  You put me to shame with your home cooking (Sainsburys here I come ha ha - pre bought buffet will be on my Boxing day table as kids/grandkids here)  - sadly  my 'practical genes' got lost at birth (Mum did not like cooking either!!!) - though wil cook a turkey for the occasion (to be eaten cold).  Christmas Day meal at my son in law's Mum and Stepdad this year - still not sure how I am 'supposed to feel' but will put my best side forward and we will draw strength from each other I am sure.

Take care and keep enjoying life.  Jules x

  • Hi George,

Glad you have a good doctor. Sorry to hear you have to visit the Vampiers den again (thats what I call the nurses dept where they take my blood) I must have had more blood taken from me in the past six years than the rest of my life added together ha ha. Glad you got your car going again thank to your grandson. Mrs B has finnished most of our Christmas shopping. Just need to stock up on some more nuts ha ha.

Take care George, best wishes to you and Ria, Brian.

  •   Hi all been very wet but no floods in CHESHIRE got wet walking the rat but fed the the wild llfe knuts ,bread, grapes.and carrots for the pony`s ,a bit of pain to.day but could be the weather and age  hope you are all well and dry take care all.regards george

  • Morning George

Good to hear you are still looking after your local wildlife in Cheshire.  Showery here yesterday for the most part and have woken to rain again this morning (Middlesex based). Boots and rainwear will keep it covered!!

Had my work's Christmas meal last night - nice food and relaxed atmosphere - very good.  Today I am off to help my best friends celebrate 40years of marriage with their family and friends at local hostelry so country pub fire should keep us 'toastie' (and maybe a liqueur after lunch ).  Take care and hope pain relief works for you today. Jules x

  • Hi George,

Sorry to hear you got wet. Did I hear right you are feeding nuts to the wildlife?????? Perhaps I should put on a squirrel costume and come and visit your area; might even get a few nuts myself ha ha. I am a nutaholic as Mrs B would not doubt have great delight in telling you. Take care George, best wishes to you and Ria, your nutty friend, Brian.

  • Dear George

Wishing you and the family a peaceful Christmas and do hope that your GP can sort your pain issues out for  you when you see him on Monday.  Our GP is seeing a lot of 'their regulars' in the build up to the festive season to make sure they have enough medication (and thus running later than normal surgeries). As the lovely Max has said, if you can, let us know how you are doing.  Sending hugs and a big pat for Ria.Jules xx
