Hi All,Had a fantastic morning went for my review at the cancer clinic saw the top Man Mr Ramanni himself

he was pleased as punch put his arm round me shook my hand and said I think you have done well it is nearly 9 years since I  took your bladder and prostate out .I think we will discharge you ,but after 15 mins he said I think we will see you one more time next April and then that will be the last time .

The whole team who have looked after me are fantastic .But and a big BUT I have still not heard from the other clinic about my diverticular disease or diverticulitis but is a common illness at my age (82).But Still I feel great .regards george .

  • Hi George,

George - such a long time since we spoke.  I read the forum regularly but dont comment much nowadays.

I was so pleased to read your news, it is  fantastic and I am so happy for you and your family - you are such a lovely gentleman and deserve a bit of respite from worry about the C word.  Diverticulitis can be difficult to live with - I used to work in a place where several people suffered with the illness.  I really hope you can get some support in place with dealing with the illness and that it doesnt affect you too badly.  I guess you will be off on your holidays soon?  Max x

  • Hi Max ,Brian Jules many thanks for those kind words ,we have a family birthday party Sunday our son is 52 he says 32 we should have a good do .as for Angelsey some results from the clinic as to diet ?then we will go for 4 weeks ,no golf but will fish ,and visit RAF Valley with camera .

  • Hi George,

  • Just back from my short holiday break and absolutely thrilled to read your latest news. Hope the family party goes great and that you are soon sitting on the bank in your favourite fishing spot on Angelsey. Hope the clinic gets back to you soon with the diet results/advice. All the very best to you and your family.Jules x
