Positive stories for uterine serous carcinoma

I’m wondering if anyone has been diagnosed with stage 1a uterine serous carcinoma with no adjuvant treatment and has some positive stories to share? I can’t seem to find anyone online with this cancer who hasn’t had bad news and I really would like some reassurance

I had a hysterectomy 14 months ago but no adjuvant treatment which worries me

  • Hello Trinity65

I'm sorry to hear that you're struggling to connect with other women who have been through this diagnosis and treatment. It can sometimes be difficult to find connections when someone is given a less common type of cancer diagnosis.

I've had a look through the forum, and unfortunately I can't find any other posts where this particular type of uterine cancer has recently been mentioned. Hopefully, at some point, another woman who is looking to connect will come across your post and reply.

In the meantime, it may be worth getting in touch with Womb Cancer UK and The Eve Appeal to see if you can connect with other women. You are also most welcome to give our team of nurses a call. I know they will be happy to listen and offer any advice, information and support they can. If you'd like to talk with them, they're available Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm on 0808 800 4040.

    Best wishes,
