On this date two years ago we were visiting a cancer hospital of excellence in London for the first time. I thought I would feeling something about this date but I don't.
As you say, anniversaries are indeed strange things. Sometimes we make a big deal out of them or they mark us to such an extent that it is impossible to think of anything else throughout the day. Even though you are not feeling anything about this date, I can imagine you will always remember that day two years ago even if it simply stays at the back of your mind.
How have you been 2 years on? I hope that things are looking up for you and I just wanted you to know that our online community is there for you. Many on here will understand exactly what you mean about anniversaries being strange things and I hope that you will hear their thoughts and insights on this.
Hi Mary I hope you are keeping well ,its really hard to believe its 2 years since you were to visit this great Hospital and the skilled surgeons that renewed your life , maybe you don't feel anything because they did such a great job on you that you don't constantly have to think about it ,you are just getting on with life ,I wonder how many more lives they have saved since you were there ,I would imagine its a lot ,anyway Mary its good to be messaging you again ,I sincerely hope you stay well ,those Surgeons certainly need to be remembered for the amazing work they do ,take care Mary until the next time we speak , all the best Jenny x
