A little bit of sunshine 

Is always good to see

It soothes my soul 

It brightens my day 

Which is really good for me

I've been through a lot 

Some days are good 

Some days not 

But I'm  truly gratefull 

For my life

In every way

Cancer is gone

and 

I get  to wake up everyday.

So Ill be gratefull

for the sunshine 

As it soothes my soul 

brightens up my day

All the little things

 i didn't see before

I really do appreciate  them 

So much more..

    Another beautiful poem thank you Jassoscared - reading your poem will definitely brighten the days of many here on the forum who will totally relate to this feeling you describe after a cancer diagnosis - "all the little things I didn't see before I really do appreciate them so much more".  Life is really about appreciating these little things that we sometimes take for granted. 

    Very inspirational... and the sun is shining as I type this. May the skies remain blue and the sun shine for a little bit longer!
