I also had a colposcopy today. I had a hysteroscopy 2 weeks ago and she saw a lot of what looked like polyps but when she tried to take biopsy she realised it was more serious.  Got my results yesterday basically confirming i have cervical cancer and her colleague did colposcopy today where he saw the tumor (in the same place as yours) except he thinks it has probably spread. So I'm waiting now for a pep scan and mri scan. He told me that they can't operate and just give me a hysterectomy if it has spread. So we will await results and they will decide on care. 

I feel completely devastated. Numb, angry, wishing it was all a dream. How are you feeling? 

I have had an urgent referral made for post menopausal bleeding,  been bleeding 10 days,  on hrt, not bled like this before . I am 56 , back pain, headaches, left side pain and lethargy and fatigue for over 12 months 

Got my appt for Monday,  looking at all the info trying to keep postive that it could be a variety of things 

I only rang GP Monday mid morning saw Nurse late afternoon, referral made and phone call with appt for Monday . Feel very lucky about the time being fast but that dies worry.me too

Maybe overthinking things

I feel like it gasnt all sank in yet. I know these next few weeks for us are going to be full of anxiety but  at least when we get the results we will know the next steps to take.
